In the summer of 2016, I stayed at five different hotels in Hunza Valley, Gilgit Baltistan – four recommended by word-of-mouth and one recommended by TripAdvisor. My first hotel experience was not great, but as I learned my lesson with my previous hotel stay, each subsequent hotel stay became better and better. If you’re looking for a memorable experience that takes you off the beaten path and puts you right into Hunza culture and history, then Baltit Heritage Inn is a must-visit.
